In a day and age where footballers are ready to jump ship as soon as they are offered sky high wages, loyalty and love for the club is a very uncommon sight.
Lazio midfielder Hernanes though just could not handle a move away from the Stadio Olimpico without breaking down in front of the club’s fans who came to get an autograph from the player.
With a move to Inter Milan being imminent, Hernanes found the affection from supporters too overwhelming as he started crying behind the wheel of his car while driving away from what was probably his last training session with Lazio.
It is really refreshing to see players like Hernanes in the modern day and moments like these make football the beautiful game that it is.
