Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind were unveiled to the world media by Manchester United in a 20 minute long press conference. The presser touched on various subjects like where Blind would play and why Welbeck was let go and if youth would be given a shot at the club.

Fondly referred to as ‘El Tigre’, Falcao also revealed his desire to remain at the Manchester club for many years.

“Yes, I hope to stay many years in Manchester United and make history in this club,” he said. “When I was in Porto and Atletico Madrid, I always wanted to improve and I dreamt of playing in a team like this and now I want to stay here for many years.”

The twist came right the end though when manager Louis van Gaal asked the journalists how his new signing’s English was and praised the Colombian at his more than decent effort.

The media obliged by applauding the former Atletico Madrid, Porto and Monaco striker.
