#2 Penalties
Penalties have seen a much needed major revamp in FIFA 17, with the previous few editions of FIFA having the monotonous and ridiculously easy method of timing the shot with the respective power bar. FIFA 16 had you time your shot with the power bar at green, and this would determine the accuracy of your penalty. But this has been completely removed in FIFA 17.
In FIFA 17 however, there is a much wider range of penalties that one can have in their armoury, with the approach to the shot, the power concentration, and the angle of the run up all being key facets to scoring a penalty. Saving penalties have also become more exciting and less routine, and while it takes time to get used to, the new penalty engine definitely adds panache to the otherwise boring routine of penalties.
