Barcelona and Uruguay’s star striker Luis Suarez has always made the news for doing something controversial on the field but has now shown his considerate side, with his kind-hearted gesture towards a young cancer patient. Suarez joined a video call with the young kid and made his day by speaking to him.
The kid, Mateo who is a big fan of the Barcelona forward, was told that he would be taken to do a video call with a specialist doctor who could help him get better. However, imagine his surprise when the person who joined the call was Suarez, and not any doctor.
Young Mateo was clearly overcome with emotion and could not believe that he was face-to-face with his idol. The former Liverpool frontman told him to keep following the doctor’s advice, and that he will soon send him one of his Barcelona jerseys.
