Video: United States prepare for Serbia clash

The US national team trained at the Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo on Monday ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Tim Howard, goalkeeper and captain:

“We’re expecting a hard game, it’s going to be difficult, we know a lot of their players – I play with some of them in England, and some of the boys have played with some of their players in Germany throughout their different travels. We know this is a very tough team and it will be difficult for us, but we have (World Cup) qualification in September so this is a big game for us”

Michael Bradley, midfielder:

“For us it’s a great opportunity to play against a very strong team and it’s important for us as we prepare for the next games in qualifying for the World Cup, so it should be a good match”

Michael Bradley, midfielder:

“For us it’s always important to show in our region that we’re one of the best teams, so for us to play in this tournament (2013 Gold Cup) against teams like Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, and to come away with the title, is important.”
