With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, love is in the air. And Real Madrid defender Pepe is not one to be left behind.
The 32-year-old Portugal international has been sidelined since his last appearance in the all-whites against Real Betis in a 1-1 draw at the end of January. So it seems he has made some good use of his time to perfect his piano-playing skills while writing romantic odes to the one he cares about the most.
Aptly titled ‘The One I Love’, he wears a white suit and sits at a white piano with rose petals spread across the top. “I knew the first time I saw you that you were special,” he croons.
“Then I held you; it was like a dream come true. So soft, so beautiful!” At this point, he can’t help but smile.
“You made me want to be better. And I am better! Why would I want another?” Everything a girl wants to hear, eh Pepe?
He then goes all Tom-Cruise-in-Jerry-Maguire and finishes it off with the line, “You complete me!” Very smooth, but so ‘90s.
It is only then that we see the object of his desires at the other end of the piano.
