Wayne Rooney has revealed the player he would want back at Manchester United if it were possible for him to choose.

The England striker is currently struggling with injuries and is in danger of missing the last game of the season for United.

Rooney was undergoing a question and answer session for Samsung on Facebook with numerous fans across the world, who were eager to get their questions out to one of the worlds most renowned footballers. The former Everton striker was asked a number of questions, which included which player he would love to have back playing with him.

Rooney spent a number of years playing with Cristiano Ronaldo during the Ballon d’Or holders time at Manchester United. The two had a small spat during a World Cup clash in 2006, when Rooney stamped on Ricardo Carvalho during the quarter-final against Portugal in Germany.

Ronaldo was caught pleading with the referee to send off Rooney and was also pictured winking at the camera after the striker was sent off for an early bath. The pair later made up, before Ronaldo left a few years later for Real Madrid.
