Gareth McAuley in action for West Brom

West Brom won 1-0 at Norwich, but things didn’t go pretty for West Brom defender Gareth McAuley who accidentally broke a laptop which was in the press box at Carrow Road.

During the match, one of the defender’s clearance directly hit the laptop, which was destroyed.

The club’s twitter page tweeted a picture of the broken laptop:

After the match was done, the defender was confronted by the video team of WBA to make him repent for the damage he had caused to the club’s IT department. McAuley is said to have agreed to pay the fine for the damage that was caused, and he was informed by the interviewer that the cost would be deducted from his wages.
