Will Liverpool drop points this weekend?
Will Liverpool drop points this weekend?

After their surprising draw against Leicester City at Anfield in the weekend, Liverpool travels to London as they face West Ham in the London Stadium on Monday.

A couple of weeks ago the Hammers were buzzing after their victory over London rivals Arsenal, fast forward to the present day, the Hammers find themselves facing their fourth defeat since their win at home to the Gunners. West Ham has conceded 4 goals in each of their last 4 meetings with the Merseysiders.

Liverpool blew the chance to go 7 points clear at the top when they failed to win against Leicester City last match day. This game week once again witnesses Merseysiders playing after Manchester City, with a victory to City resulting in the Citizens reducing the gap at the top to 2 points while a loss for them could see the Reds increasing the lead at the top a maximum of 8 points with a win.

The first meeting between both sides in the league ended with Liverpool winning 4-0 at Anfield.

One of the signings of the season

The Brazilian has been a phenomenal figure in all the matches the Hammers have played brilliantly. Expect the versatile attacking player to have a busy day at the office.

Liverpool

Mo Salah

The Egyptian King
The Egyptian King

The Egyptian had been on a red hot form before going cold in their last match against Leicester City. The Premier League top scorer will once again look to find the net when they lock horns with West Ham.

Prediction

Liverpool once again faces the possibility of witnessing their lead reduced to just 2 points with Manchester City playing earlier. The Reds has had a terrific season so far but January has seen them slip in quite a few matches with the Foxes coming from behind to snatch the draw at Anfield.

The attacking firepower is likely to be too much to handle for the West Ham defence.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Liverpool
