#2 Raheem Sterling's form revival

Spain was on the receiving end of a resurgent Raheem Sterling for England. Not only did he score the first away goal for England in an international competition since 1987, but he also scored his first goal in three years and what a time to get it for him and his nation.

Moreover, La Roja seemed to fail in finding any answers to whatever Sterling was throwing at them. Maybe it was one of those days that you can't stop a man who's on a roll for his country.

Sterling was the epitome of hard work paying off in their encounter against Spain and he might go a long way for his nation.

Clearly, he was determined to prove his doubters wrong with this emphatic performance against the 2010 world champions. If Spain wasn't able to handle Sterling, could they be found out by Croatia next month?
