Trying to address the aforementioned defensive concerns could be a reason to consider the addition of English international James Tarkowski. With Burnley currently in a relegation battle, it will be difficult for them to sell.
But with a chance of winning the Premier League on the other end, Tarkowski can apply the necessary pressure and force the sale if the fee is right and a replacement can be had.
