Bengaluru secured a 4-1 victory over East Bengal in the final of the 2018 Indian Super Cup. A brace from captain Sunil Chhetri and goals from Miku and Rahul Bheke ensured Bengaluru kept their record of lifting at least 1 title every season since they were formed in 2014. We are very happy and very pleased and satisfied. We had a great season and to win a tournament at the end feels really good. So proud of the whole team and the boys, to our head coach, our owners and to the lovely fans who have travelled and the fans in Orissa also.
Throughout the season, we played really well. We won more matches than we lost and we have looked dominant. Some great performances and some youngsters stepped up. This is one of the best seasons I've had and it's all because of the team. We work really hard but we're really hungry and will go at it again, every year!

Thank you to the fans for the support. We were disappointed during the ISL because we are the best team and we lost the final. Today, we proved ourselves that we can win finals. To end the season like this, scoring lot of goals, I am very happy.

It was a tough game for me. The goal I scored, I did not celebrate because I had scored against my ex-club. Ultimately, we won and I am really happy for that. We have worked really tough from the start of the season. We didn't win the ISL and that was disappointing.
