Sheffield United secured promotion into the Premier League for the first time since 2007, and building a team capable of sticking around will be a priority for manager Chris Wilder.
One position that may require some work ahead of the new season could be goalkeeping, with regular number one Dean Henderson returning to Manchester United when his loan deal expires later this month.
Henderson has been inspirational in helping the team finish second in the Championship, with an impressive 21 clean sheets in 46 league appearances for the Blades.
But with the 22-year-old signing an extension with the Red Devils last season, his future and availability are still a question mark.
If Henderson isn't able to return to Sheffield, then veteran goalkeeper, Joe Hart, could be worth some consideration in the summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old Hart has spent this past season with Burnley but has made just 19 league appearances - last featuring on Boxing Day, with Tom Heaton returning to the number one role.
Now it appears that Hart could be looking for a move in the summer, hoping to earn a starting role on another team in the Premier League.
With Sheffield United making the step up into the top tier potentially without Henderson next season, adding a veteran such as Hart could be worth looking into.
Hart had four clean sheets in his 19 league appearances for Burnley but also had two clean sheets in two Europa League games he played for the club.
In the league, he averaged four saves per game, with 2.3 of them coming from inside the penalty area.
The England international has had a difficult few seasons, having previously been a steady figure for Manchester City for a number of years.
With his confidence dashed, Hart will be determined to find a club willing to give him an opportunity to impress, and the Blades might be the ideal destination for him - given the questions around the position.
If Hart is able to regain the form he showed earlier in his career, he could be a steal this summer, and it could be Sheffield United that benefits as a result.
