2 years after joining Manchester United from Crystal Palace, Wilfried Zaha has rejoined his boyhood club on a permanent basis. Zaha has been re-signed for a reported £3 million by the London-based club after selling him for £15 million two years ago.

Zaha was on loan at Palace since the end of August this season and has now reportedly signed a 5 and a half year contract. The winger has made 16 appearances for Palace this season. Newly-appointed manager Alan Pardew can now dip into the loan market again as his permanent move has freed up a loan spot at the club.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal deemed Zaha surplus to requirements after signing Angel Di Maria for a record transfer fee and preferring youngsters like Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira.

The 22-year-old made just two senior appearances for Manchester United in his spell there and questions will be asked of former manager Alex Ferguson, who signed the Englishman, regarding the transfer fee.

The announcement by Palace is expected imminently.
