The Brazilian midfielder Willian has passed his medical at Tottenham Hotspur and is set to join the Spurs for a fee reported to be around £30 million. He is considering his options over a possible five-year-deal, according to Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old was also linked with Liverpool and Arsenal but the Anzhi midfielder has chosen Spurs over the rest of the suitors.
Since joining Anzhi this January, the Brazilian has scored just a solitary goal but has 37 goals in his five seasons with Shakthar Donetsk.
Willian is the latest addition to Spurs’ squad this season, who are on a spending spree, with players like Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli, Etienne Capoue and Paulinho having already arrived at White Hart Lane for a combined total of £57.6 million.
