Cristiano Ronaldo, it seems, simply can’t stop staring at himself on the big screen during games. Either the Portuguese forward cannot get enough of himself or the screens at the Bernabeu are simply way too charming for the Portuguese forward to ignore. Not that anyone else could resist having a look at themselves if they’d be as good looking as Cristiano.

He may not be in the best shape of his career when it comes to matters on the pitch, but that doesn’t mean he cannot still wow an audience with his shape overall. Be it fans or fellow players, Ronaldo does leave many in awe but one such player seems to have noticed something rather odd about the 31-Year Old Real Madrid forward.

In an interview, Wolfsburg utility man Bruno Henrique, who lined up against Real Madrid in the recently concluded UEFA Champions League in the knockout rounds, has revealed that Cristiano can’t really stop staring at himself on the big screen during games.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the biggest players in the world. I never imagined that one day I would be marking him. It was exciting," he said in an interview. The Brazilian then swiftly added with a slight smile, "What I also saw differently is that he kept staring [at] himself in the big screen the whole time."

So if one is to believe the Wolfsburg man, Cristiano scored a hat-trick of goals against his side having admired himself throughout the game at the Bernabeu. Not bad, eh? Guess he isn’t the most valued player on the planet for no reason after all.

The Wolfsburg forward also added that Cristiano is a great player and skilled beyond measure making it very difficult indeed to mark him, something Henrique figured out first hand at the Santiago Bernabeu as Cristiano single-handedly overturned Wolfsburg’s lead from the first leg.

This little fiasco isn’t that hard to believe if you’re a firm follower of Cristiano’s Instagram profile. Prone to taking selfies, particularly with his shirt off, Cristiano is proud of his rippled body and shredded physique. Cristiano doesn’t save it all for himself either, as he loves a little shirtless celebration after a goal too.

All you need to see is the man celebrating the penalty that won the Champions League this time around. So Cristiano Ronaldo is self-obsessed, good looking and a brilliant player? This little reveal from good old Bruno isn’t all that much of a shocker!
