#1 Giving Henderson the freedom
Jordan Henderson's selection in the starting XI was not appreciated by a lot of England fans. But the Liverpool star's performance last night changed everything.
He was given so much creative freedom by Southgate and he made the most of it. Henderson was spotting the runs made by the wing-backs and finding them with pinpoint crosses.
He was dominating the midfield last night and there was nothing Tunisia could do about it. They were not able to close him down quick enough and when they eventually managed to get close to him, he slotted a short pass to a player near him and got away once again.
