What is the story?

Nss Magazine released a world map which shows every stadium Lionel Messi has scored for either Barcelona or Argentina and it is mind-boggling to witness this kind of supremacy.

In case you didn’t know….

The Barcelona maestro is having one of the finest campaigns of his career. Messi dominates every possible charts or statistics in terms of scoring goals or creating them for his teammates this season. He has already scored 39 goals for Barcelona and provided 20 assists in just 36 appearances. He is truly and undoubtedly in a league of his own.

Daily Mail has recently revealed that the Barcelona captain has conquered 84 out of 85 opponents he faced in the famous Blaugrana shirt and only one opponent got the better of him.

However, Messi’s return to the national team wasn’t quite a fruitful one. The Albiceleste captain returned to the national squad just after little shy of nine months only to suffer a humiliating 3-1 defeat in the hands of Venezuela in an International friendly.

What’s Next?

Messi will miss Argentina’s next friendly game against Morocco due to a groin injury. Barcelona won’t want to take any risk by putting Messi in the starting line-up against Espanyol on 30th of March as an important Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United is on the horizon.
