Manchester United deportees Wilfried Zaha(21) and Fabio Da Silva(23) have joined Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Cardiff Football Club. United’s £15 million summer purchase Zaha joins Cardiff FC on loan for the remainder of the season, while Brazilian Fabio joins them on permanent basis.
Zaha despite his impressive performances in United’s pre season tour hasn’t been able to earn any starts for United and thus been sent to get some first team action to the Bluebirds. On the other hand, Rafael‘s twin brother Fabio has had a misery of continual injuries over the years and average performances by United’s standards, looks like United have unfortunately given up on the youngster.
Nevertheless the duo start a new chapter at the Wales outfit with the likes of Fraizer Campbell, Mats Moller Daehli and Magnus Wolff Eikrem, who all had represented United before and will play under the mentor ship of former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Both Zaha and Fabio have taken the Social Media to unveil themselves to their fans, as there was no official unveiling by the club. Zaha posted his picture through his Instagram account, who has been desperate of first team football since his arrival at United.
While a happy Fabio posted his picture taken at a training ground in his new Cardiff FC kit.
Cardiff FC sit rock bottom of the Premiere League table and hope the new recruits help the club in fighting for the place in the league.Published 31 Jan 2014, 09:57 IST
