Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to miss Europa League clash against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk. The Swedish footballer was granted holiday by club manager Jose Mourinho after 4-1 win over league rivals Leicester City on last Saturday. Ibrahimovic was featured in the Manchester United side which won against defending league champions Leicester City on 24th September at Old Trafford.
Manchester United boss hailed Ibrahimovic’s performance against The Foxes as “phenomenal”. The former Paris Saint-Germain striker is now in Italy following Jose Mourinho’s approval to a holiday. He travelled to Milan on Monday where he was seen dining in Finger’s Garden Restaurant in the evening, reports English newspaper The Mirror. The restaurant is co-owned by Ibrahimovic with his former AC Milan teammate Clarence Seedorf.

The 34-year-old striker has scored five times in nine appearances in all competitions for Manchester United after arriving at Manchester United on a free transfer this summer.
Previously, there were concerns over the transfer of Ibrahimovic to Manchester United regarding his age being on the wrong side of the 30s. While some of the other summer arrivals in Manchester United had a difficult time adapting in, Ibrahimovic has adapted to the new lifestyle quickly as he already netted six times in the Premier League. The veteran striker is on a one-year deal with Manchester United.
The newly appointed Manchester United manager was seen leaving the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on Tuesday morning to the morning training to the rest of the squad in the club’s Carrington training ground.

Manchester United will also miss out on forward Anthony Martial and left-back Luke Shaw, who are both unavailable for selection after injuries. Defender Phil Jones is also out due to a ligament injury.
However, new summer arrival Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned from a thigh injury and is set to feature in the Europa League clash against Zorya. Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford is expected to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the squad.
This is a vital match for the Portuguese manager as Manchester United is at the bottom of Group A after a defeat against Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Manchester United is currently sixth in the Premier League standings and the presence of the Swedish striker has brought back some confidence in the Manchester United attacking line-up. Many pundits are saying it is the perfect opportunity to Marcus Rashford as the teenage forward to learn some tricks from one of the best central forwards in this decade and the last.
