What is the lore behind Undying Sorrow in Fortnite?

Undying Sorrow was created for Fortnitemares 2022 as part of the official Concept Royale event organized by Epic Games. Out of the many entries, Undying Sorrow created by kitsunexkitsu and Sinister Glare created by Dreowings came out on top. They were well received by the community and have since become staple cosmetics that are used during Fortnitemares in-game.

That said, kitsunexkitsu has other amazing concepts that have been brought to life in-game. She is the creator of Marigold, often considered as Midas’ counterpart and partner in crime. She also created Charlotte, a famed demon hunter who was introduced back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.
