What is the lore behind Sinister Glare in Fortnite?

There is no lore behind Sinister Glare in Fortnite. The character was created for Fortnitemares 2022 as part of the official Concept Royale event organized by Epic Games. Out of the many entries, Sinister Glare created by Dreowings and Undying Sorrow created by kitsunexkitsu, came out on top. They were well received by the community and have since become staple cosmetics that are used during Fortnitemares in-game. They are often listed together in the in-game Item Shop via the Concept of Fear Bundle. Given that both of these characters were introduced at the same time, it makes sense. 

That said, Sinister Glare has never been part of the storyline, but the character’s design helps it stand out from the crowd. The character has a single large red eye in the middle of a palm for a head. This ‘head’ reacts to eliminations which is rather cool. What’s more interesting is theri official in-game description, “None can run, none can hide.” This would suggest that the eye is all-seeing, and could potentially track down opponents wherever they may be hiding. Of course, this does not give players an in-game advantage, but it is a cool factoid nonetheless.
