What is the lore behind the Inkville Gang Pack in Fortnite?

There is no such lore to speak of when it comes to the Inkville Gang Pack in Fortnite. However, it does contain a few black/white variants/snapshots of two of the popular characters that are part of the Metaverse: Peely and Bushranger. Both of them have been part of the storyline in some way or the other over the many seasons in-game. The official description of the cosmetic pack reads, “Stay in toon with the Inkville Gang Pack!” The word “toon” has been used to refer to cosmetics' designs that take inspiration from the black/white cartoon era.
