Fortnite Chapter 4: Everything we know so far

As Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is in its home stretch, the community is witnessing a new height of information overload. Everybody wants to contribute to the hype of Chapter 4. While Epic Games has divulged a few secrets, concrete information about the upcoming chapter remains under wraps.

To date, the only confirmed information that we have is about the upcoming live event. Fortnite Fracture will conclude Chapter 3 and will usher the game into its next phase. Beyond that, everything else is speculation. However, this doesn't discount the veracity of such information.

In a time where everybody is equipped with the means to feed the fire of misinformation, who do we rely on? Our best bets are leakers like HYPEX and Shiina. While there are many other leakers who, from time to time, furnish legitimate information, the prominent ones do bear a seal of trust.

Fortnite Fracture entails an otherwordly social event

Although the Fortnite community is full of leaks, fans currently have very little information that has been confirmed. There are a plethora of things that are cued up for the next chapter, but the developers are yet to share more details. For the reader's convenience, this piece is segmented into two parts: confirmed and unconfirmed information.

Confirmed information

The only source of confirmed information is the Epic Games website. As of now, we only know that the upcoming live event is called Fortnite Fracture. This one-time-only, in-game event will start on Sunday, December 3, 2022, at 4 pm ET. The playlist will open 30 minutes prior and players will be able to join until 4:40 pm ET.

Individuals will be able to party, however, this has an upper cap of four people. To commemorate the event, players will receive the Toasty Roast Emote for free. Anybody who logs into the game between December 2, at 9 am ET, and December 4, at 2:45 am ET will be able to claim the freebie.

Unconfirmed information

There are a plethora of things that Fortnite Chapter 4 entails. While many details have been leaked, we don't have any official announcements pertaining to them as of now. However, these claims are backed by prominent leakers and it is plausible that most of them will manifest.

The map will be called Asteria. Although it is yet to be confirmed, the name historically aligns with the name of previous maps. Fortnite Creative 2.0 will also be making its debut. However, there is no information as to in what season it will go live.

Building upon the name, many players believe that the island will fall prey to a calamity. It is speculated that the island will develop a fracture and will be annihilated completely. This theory aligns with the theme of live events that herald drastic map changes.

Epic Games developers have shared a series of images and motion teasers that hint towards something extraterrestrial. Although it all indicates that something malevolent is inbound from space, this is all but confirmed.
