Campfires are fixed utility items in Fortnite. Aside from being able to set players on fire if they step atop one, they can fully heal them from 1 to 100 HP. They can even restore the HP of vehicles that have been damaged. On that note, this utility item does function differently in the normal and zero-build modes.

The normal mode requires wood to ignite and can be used multiple times, while in the zero-build mode, it can only be used once. Nevertheless, their locations on the island remain the same. With that said, here's where to find all of the Campfire locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

There are a total of 46 Campfire locations within the Grassland Biome of the Chapter 4 Season 1 island. Although a lot of them can be found in and around named locations, most of them have been placed near landmarks. Here are their locations:

• Coastal Battlement
• Woodsy Ward
• Breakwater Bay
• Western Watch
• Anvil Square
• Seaside Sentry
• Shore Shack
• Meadow Mansion
• Rowdy Acres
• Proper Pastures
• Hitches and Ditches
• Hidden Henge
• Exile Isle
• Humble Hamlet
• Cuddle Cross Track
• Lute Lake
• Beachy Buffs
• Beached Bit
• Fishsticks' Boat Race
• Slappy Shores

Out of all these Campfire locations, the best place to relax and warm the "old bones" is Beachy Buffs. There are three Campfires at this landmark and since they're not significant in any way, running into multiple opponents during the early-game will be rare.

If and when there's a weekly challenge that involves using Campfires, this will be the best location at which to complete it.

Campfire locations in the Snow Biome

Despite the bitter cold and inhospitable terrain, players can find 18 Campfire locations within the Snow Biome. While a handful can be found in one major POI, most are scattered across several landmarks:

• The Hall of Whispers
• Brutal Bastion
• Solitary Shrine
• Cold Cavern
• Berg Barge
• The Stone Tower
• Aegis Temple

Of all the Campfire locations in the Snow Biome, the ones at Cold Cavern and Berg Barge are the safest to use. Since these landmarks hold no strategic value, the odds of running into players are relatively low.

However, keep in mind that since the biome is predominantly white in color, lighting a campfire is not a good idea. Opponents will be able to spot the flames from afar and take up firing positions. As soon as players try to rotate, they'll get pinned down and may perish from either gunfire or the advancing Storm Circle.
