Fortnite Impostor is an Among Us-inspired UEFN map that has been gaining a lot of traction for months. It was released on January 7, 2023, but started to become massively popular after its major update on June 30, 2024. It peaked at over 30,000 concurrent players, surpassing some of the biggest Fortnite game modes.

The map code to access Fortnite Impostor is 5790-4668-6491. The creator's username, "keeneo" should be right below the game title. Up to ten people can play this map in both public and private lobbies.

To locate the map, follow these steps:

• Head over to the search icon on the top-left corner in the Battle Royale lobby.
• Paste the map code or type it in. However, in case of the latter make sure to add the dashes, or else it will not work.
• Click on the Select button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

How to play

The gameplay of this map is quite similar to the original Among Us game. One random player is picked as an Impostor and the rest players are called Investigators. The Impostor is supposed to eliminate all the Investigators before the time ends. The Investigators are supposed to find and vote out who the Impostor is at the end of the round.

There are tens of tasks that everyone can do across the map including repairing wires, cleaning the Battlebus, and turning the lights on. The Impostor can also pretend to do tasks. There are various hidden locations that Impostors can use to teleport to other locations without leaving a trace.
