As mentioned earlier, the best part about this Oathbound quest is that you can complete it anywhere on the Fortnite island. Considering that many Fortnite players are doing their best to complete the third part of the questline as soon as possible, some missions require you to be very careful.

Fortunately, this is not the case with Alloy Pieces. As long as you can find the metal structures, you are good to go, as you will receive the items required for the quest completion.

Here is the easiest way to damage metal structures to collect Alloy Pieces.

1) Choose your landing spot

If you want to complete the latest Fortnite challenge as quickly as possible, you will need to land at a spot that has many metal structures. While you can complete the challenge almost anywhere on the map, we suggest that you land at Slappy Shores.

This location has a lot of metal. You can complete the new challenge by simply hitting a metal fence a couple of times.

2) Use your pickaxe to damage metal structures

Once you get close to a metal structure, you must damage it to get Alloy Pieces. The easiest way to do this is to get close to it and hit it with your pickaxe.

Make sure to hit weak spots on structures, as your melee damage will be multiplied.

2) Collect Alloy Pieces

As you keep damaging metal structures, they will drop Alloy Pieces you need to collect. Keep in mind that there is no guaranteed drop rate on these items, as they will randomly appear while you are damaging metal structures.

Once you pick up five Alloy Pieces, the quest will be completed, and you will receive 20,000 XP.

3) Verify that you completed the quest

Once you damage metal structures and collect five Alloy Pieces, you will receive not only 20,000 XP but also another quest. To verify that you have successfully completed the quest, open your quest log.

If everything is fine, you will receive a quest that will require you to place the alloy in a Forge Brazier to heat the metal. If you don't see the new quest, check if you've picked up five Alloy Pieces.
