How to solve a Lantern Puzzle at the Fest Tour in Fortnite

Fortnite players need to solve a Lantern Puzzle for the latest challenge. It is relatively easy, but can be very confusing, which is why we've prepared a step-by-step guide on how to complete it.

The puzzle is part of the new Fortnite Lantern Fest 2023 event, which comes with several free cosmetic items that can be unlocked by completing various challenges. Furthermore, you can also access a special Creative map during its cours.

The Fortnite Lantern Tour 2023 lasts for a limited time, which is why you should solve the puzzle as soon as possible. This is one of the easiest challenges currently available in the game and can be completed in less than a minute.

Once you complete the challenge, you will receive 20,000 XP. Additionally, you will progress towards unlocking free cosmetic items that have been released with the new event in Fortnite.

Here are the steps you need to take to solve a Lantern Puzzle:

1) Join the Fortnite Lantern Fest Tour map

The Lantern Fest Tour is a new Creative map that you need to join in order to solve a Lantern Puzzle. It is featured in the game and you can access it from the quest log.

If you want to get to it right away, open the Game Mode selection menu and go to the Island Code tab. Enter 3691-9667-3697 as the code and press the Play button to join the map.

2) Start the puzzle

Once you join the Creative Map, you will have to locate a green lantern and interact with the button present inside it. This will teleport you to the special room and give you 30 seconds to solve a Lantern Puzzle.

The lantern can be found on the western part of the island, so stick to the left side once you enter the map and you'll find it easily.

3) Solve a Lantern Puzzle

After interacting with the button, you will only have 30 seconds to solve the puzzle. However, this is more than enough if you know the correct order of the pillars you need to interact with.

Each pillar has an icon on top of it and this is the correct order:

• Camel
• Sun
• Island
• Cactus
• Palm Tree

Once you interact with all five of them, the Fortnite challenge will be completed and you will receive 20,000 XP.
