Fortnite has already introduced Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan. The protagonist from the popular anime was added to the seasonal Battle Pass as the highly anticipated secret skin. Considering that previous anime collaborations have been a lot more in-depth than this, it was certainly a curious move by Epic Games.

Several suspicious fans suspected that there might be more to the Attack on Titan collaboration than meets the eye, and they seem to have been right. Reportedly, the collaboration is going to be far more extensive than just a single Battle Pass skin.

Attack on Titan's Levi and Mikasa skins are officially confirmed for Fortnite

In the most recent teaser on their official Twitter account, Fortnite confirmed that both Levi and Mikasa Ackerman, two other major characters from the anime, will officially be arriving in the game. They were seen in the trailer showcasing their skills as they swung through the map.

As such, this is an official confirmation that the Fortnite x Attack on Titan collaboration is coming and they've even set a release date for it, April 11. In less than a week, Eren Yeager won't be the only AoT character in the popular battle royale game.

It's fairly likely that these two characters will be featured in the Item Shop as the Battle Pass is already fixed. They could potentially be in a pack that can only be purchased with real money, but this seems unlikely.

Furthermore, it appears as if some new in-game items are coming, such as a Mythic weapon or something to pair with these characters. Since April 11 is a Tuesday, the weekly update could likely introduce map changes or other crucial elements for the rest of the collaboration.

How many anime collaborations have there been in Fortnite?

The Attack on Titan crossover marks one of many anime collaborations to hit Fortnite. Initially, the game only had a few anime-inspired skins, but no official characters. All of this changed with Naruto, which was the first official anime collab in the battle royale title. They released two different sets, totaling eight skins and several cosmetics.

Epic Games followed that up with Dragon Ball Z, the second anime that was officially featured on the island. It introduced brand new skins, in-game items, and even an exciting in-game location.

The third crossover was with My Hero Academia, which brought along several skins and in-game items as well. Finally, Attack on Titan arrived, making numerous players who had been requesting this crossover for the longest time extremely happy.

Perhaps the upcoming update will bring in new items and locations like other collaborations have in the past, but at the very least, three new anime skins have been brought to the game. As of now, there are even theories that Armin could potentially be released in the future. Which anime will Fortnite include next? Will One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, and more eventually be added to the game?
