In his opinion, the gaming industry as a whole is about to change, implying the reveal will be looked back on as a key moment in the history of the industry.

Nickmercs, another noted YouTuber, said:

"Fortnite makin’ moves man. Gotta love how they continually supply the tools & opportunities for the entire gaming space to create cool s**t. You could essentially create or even recreate anything & everything with the right people. Might be time for the Halo BR."

He is personally pleased with how much the game has listened to and provided the community with what they want or need.

American internet personality Timthetatman said:

"Sky is the limit with Creative 2.0... Someone could make a Halo BR... in Fortnite. Someone could put Verdansk... in [the game]."

What can you do with Fortnite Creative 2.0?

Creative 2.0 was just announced and it could not have come sooner. The game has been in need of a major overhaul such as this for a while and it looks set to revitalize the community.

The first thing many have speculated is that the original map could now return to a Creative island; with the old POIs designed and the layout matched.

That's only the beginning; it won't be like making new games within a game, but it will be pretty close. Once players get adept with it, the community could see the things Tfue, Nickmercs, and others alluded to. Expect major crossovers in the game, with entire game modes and maps from elsewhere being recreated.
