The spring edition of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2025 SEA came to a close with the top eight teams advancing to the Esports World Cup. Indonesia’s ONIC Olympus emerged champions of the FFWS after putting up a magnificent performance in the Grand Finals on June 15, 2025. Their star player, CrimeMKS, was the FMVP of the competition.
The Free Fire Esports World Cup 2025 Riyadh is scheduled to be played from July 16 to July 20, 2025, in Riyadh, KSA. A total of 18 teams from across the globe will compete in this grand contest for a prize pool of $1 million. So far, 12 teams have been confirmed for the event.

ONIC Olympus won the ninth match of the final after crossing the 80-point mark (pre-determined points). The Indonesian club became the winners in the final, which was held in the Champion Rush format. They earned $100,000.
Buriram United from Thailand were the runners-up in the event. They topped the overall standings in the finale but did not win a match after hitting the 80-point mark. The lineup had a stellar run throughout the event and will aim to clinch the Esports World Cup 2025 title.
Bigetron Esports, too, had an emphatic run in the finale. The Indonesian lineup bagged three Booyahs out of their nine matches. Unfortunately, they failed to secure the FFWS title.
All Gamers Global from Thailand were fourth, while Virtus Pro and RRQ Kazu were fifth and sixth, respectively. Meanwhile, Evos Divine finished seventh, while Core Memory were eighth in the event. They had an average run in the Grand Finals. However, both teams secured a place in the Esports World Cup 2025.
Defending champion Team Falcons were directly invited to the World Cup. The Thai club had a below-average run in the FFWS 2025 SEA Spring as the team was ninth in the overall standings. Their main goal will be to improve their play in the World Cup and defend their title.
Fluxo from Brazil also earned a seat in the upcoming event after securing the top spot in their regional FFWS 2025 Group Stage. Hotshot Esports from Pakistan and Alpha from MEA, too, made it to the Free Fire World Cup.
