Ex-Rockstar developer Leslie Benzies' debut title, MindsEye, saw an extremely rough release. While it was expected to be a GTA competitor, the game received mostly negative reviews on Steam. Many people compared the game's launch to Cyberpunk 2077's poor release situation. The game is extremely buggy at the moment, with a whole lot of stutters and crashes.

While most of these issues can only be resolved with future patches from Build A Rocket Boy (the developers), there are a few things you can check to ensure that there are no problems from your end. Mentioned below are some reasons as to why the game might not be performing well for you, alongside a few potential fixes.

Note: The fixes mentioned here are workarounds and are not guaranteed to work in every case. However, they are worth trying until Build A Rocket Boy rolls out official patches.

The first thing to check is whether you have installed the latest available graphics card drivers or not. The reason behind this is simple: even if you have an extremely powerful GPU, if it is not up-to-date, it can lead to incompatibility issues, which in turn can lead to dips in performance. To fix this, follow these steps:

3) Verify your game files

While downloading or installing games, more than often, a few of the files get corrupted or damaged due to various reasons. This can lead to bugs and issues such as crashing at launch, black screen issues, etc. To make sure you don't face these problems, double-check if all of the files are fine or not.
