Earlier today, SEGA announced that from today, the third DLC, Safe Heaven, of their game Alien Isolation will be released and also revealed what the DLC contains. The studio said that the third of the five expected DLCs adds the “Salvage Challenge”. This is a new way of playing the survival mode where you will have to complete a series of ten tasks without dying against the slipping time and also face the enemies who will try to kill you. This increases the level of difficulty in the game.

Like the previous DLCs, the Safe Heaven also introduces a new playable charater. This time the players will control a character named Hughes, Sevastopol Station’s Communications Manager. Hughes will be trapped in a safe room and will have to complete the ten tasks to restore communications and get out. The game was released last year, October 7, 2014 on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4. The game was praised for it’s visuals and tense atmosphere but was criticised for it’s bad storyline and its difficulty. To read our review of the game, click here.
