Diablo 3 announcement and panel set for BlizzCon

With all the buzz going on about the upcoming Diabloo 3, most fans are under the impression that it will be dominated with news and info of the World of Warcraft: Warlords Of Draenor expansion. That and possibly a full reveal and trailer/footage of Starcraft II: Legacy Of The Void. But it seems that even Diablo 3 fans will also have something to look forward to as Blizzard has not only put up the schedule for them but even teased about possible announcements.

Blizzard has announced the panels for Diablo 3 which fans can attend or even watch online via the Virtual Ticket. There will be two panels regarding the game and those are scheduled for Friday and Saturday. So here are the two panels to look out for:

Friday November 7th: This is probably the most talked about Diablo 3 panel and is titled Diablo III – What’s Next. As the official description reads: “In this you’ll get a first look at some of the features and concepts we’re working on for future Diablo III patches, including a taste of new loot, upcoming balance changes, and a few . . . mischievous surprises.” Considering its been titled ‘What’s Next’, does it mean an expansion is on the way? Who knows but it’s sure to keep Diablo fans excited. The panel will be attended by Game director Kevin Martens, lead designer Josh Mosqueira as well as senior technical designer Wytatt Chang, and senior game designer Johnny Ebbert.

Saturday, November 8th: This panel has been titled Evolving Reaper of Souls and focuses on taking a look at the teams ever-evolving design philosophies, their lessons learned during development and how it affects future item design in Diablo 3. The panel will be attended by Kevin Martens with Josh Mosqueira as the host. They will be joined by game designer Travis Day as well. They will also be revealing the upcoming Legendary Set items for looting in a future patch.

So whether the panels reveal an expansion or not, it’s certainly worth looking out for if you are an avid Diablo 3 player. Also let’s not forget this image posted by AllGamesBeta which was soon cleverly dismissed by a response from Blizzard, touché!?. Well expansion or no expansion, only time will tell as BlizzCon kicks off this Friday.
