What's the story?

FIFA 18 has been a success in terms of sales and Ultimate Team has gamers hooked to their screens to say the very least. A few months after the game's release and taking into consideration the performance of players on the real pitch, a FIFA Team of the Year has been made by fans and quite frankly, the team looks incredible on first viewing.

After fans chimed in with their votes on who should make the team, "For The Win" compiled the votes and released this tweet, showing an eleven that could beat the best of the best.

In case you didn't know...

Fans have been busy on Ultimate Team and made their own versions of a spectacular World XI but this particular one looks like a complete team that could definitely challenge for the biggest trophies in World football.

The heart of the matter

The team itself consists of David De Gea in goal, his Manchester United compatriot Antonio Valencia at right back, Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Marcelo at centre back and left back respectively, with Leonardo Bonucci of AC Milan rounding off the defenders.

The midfield looks interesting too with N'Golo Kante in the defensive role and Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric being the two playmakers. The team is completed with a strike trio of Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. A dangerous forward line to say the least.

What's next?

While these players may never play together in reality, a dream Ultimate Team line-up like this may seem possible on FIFA 18, which is available on PS 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Author's take

Fan-voting aside, every football lover's dream would be to see a team such as this take to the field and wreak havoc, even if it's just for one game.
