Ken and Cammy are the most requested characters in Play Magazine's Street Fighter V poll

Ryu is one of the three confirmed characters for Street Fighter V

According to fan votes in the recent Play Magazine poll, Ken and Cammy are the two characters most fans want to see included in Street Fighter V. Play Magazine conducted a survey last month where they asked fans to vote for three legacy characters they would like to see included in final version of Street Fighter V. The official Street Fighter Facebook page then publicly approved of the survey, which garnered over 70,000 fan votes in a month.

Of these 70,000 votes, Ken and Cammy turned out to be the two most popular choices among fans, with Ken taking the top spot with 2,978 votes and Cammy in second with 2940.

Capcom has confirmed only three characters for the game which are Ryu, Chun-Li and Charlie Nash. The games roster may also be smaller this time around, with Street Fighter V producer citing production costs as a reason for the smaller selection. There's also a fat chance that Ken may appear in Street Fighter V as he is one of the games poster characters, and leaving him out would be a strange decision that will garner a lot of rage from the games fanbase.

Adding Cammy would be a wise decision as she is a pretty popular character among Street Fighter fans. As for the rest of the characters, it may not make such a huge difference as many have only appeared in either one or two Street Fighter games (apart from Akuma). Here’s hoping Capcom takes their fans opinions into consideration.

Street Fighter V will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
