Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to hit PC screens two weeks after console release

The fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise had a field day as the release date for

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been announced/leaked. The game will be released for the consoles, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on September 1st. However, the PC version of the game which boasts increased resolution and higher framerate will be released two weeks later on September 15th.

It had been said that the game would be released “worldwide” on September 1st but, i guess the PC version needed a bit more finesse. The game will be available for download through Steam. However, there was no mention regarding the availability of the Collector’s Edition for the PC version though it is to contain DLC content for sure.

The fans will have to wait a little longer but given Metal Gear Solid’s track record on the PC, this is a very big improvement. Most of the Metal Gear Solid games were console releases and the PC versions were out of a lot of delay, including the latest Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Getting a PC release is a lot to hope for these days and two weeks after a console releases is not too bad considering the circumstances.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will arrive on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 on September 1st, with the PC version hitting on September 15th.
