PSN resolving issues ahead of maintenance

Sony had announced that PSN would be undergoing maintenance later today and the servers will be down for about three hours later today. However, just like the last time, the PlayStation Network went down late last night for some gamers. Sony has been working hard to get the servers online again. Luckily, they have been successful.

Most gamers complained about online gameplay and the PlayStation Store. As of now, the PSN status website has it listed as online. However, a few hours ago, the official Ask PlayStation Twitter account said that gamers were still having troubles with PSN. “We are aware that some users are experiencing PSN issues. Thanks for your continued patience as we investigate,” the message read.

PSN users can now heave a sigh of relief as those issues are being resolved so there is a very high chance that you will not face any issues in the future.

The upcoming maintenance is scheduled from 1200 hrs EST to 1530 hrs PST, but like always, all those who have used the PlayStation Network before should be able to access it during the downtime. Hopefully, this time it won’t be the same as last time when many gamers had issues accessing the servers during the maintenance time. We will keep you up to date in case there are further developments.
