Radiant Entertainment has revealed some more content for its upcoming exploration survival title Stonehearth. Co-founder of Radiant Entertainment, Tom Cannon, has confirmed some of the features that players can expect to see in the next two patches for the game.

The Team over at Radiant have just released the Alpha 7 build for Stonehearth and are now discussing the contents for the next build which will be releasing with the next two patches. Players on the Stonehearth forums have been curious over what the alpha 8 and 9 builds will contain. That’s when co-founder Tom Cannon stepped in to explain details.

According to Cannon, the Alpha 8 build will focus on ores. The patch will be adding copper, iron and gold ores to the game along with coal. The Alpha 8 patch will also feature a new profession, The Blacksmith. Blacksmiths will be able to utilize the ores in the game to craft various items like copper and iron armor as well as weapons. Besides this, the patch will also include better military controls.

The Alpha 9 patch on the other hand will include new features that will make the Stonehearth world a more interesting place to explore. The patch will also add a new ranged unit, The Archer. Both these patches sound very promising and should make the gameplay a much more fun and interesting experience.

Stonehearth was funded by a very successful Kickstarter campaign and has even been greenlit on Steam. The game is still in development stage but can be purchased via the Humble Bundle. You can check out the trailer below:
