Steve Papoutsis defends the decision of delaying the launch of Battlefiled Hardline
The game is expected to release on March 17

We recently learned about the delay regarding the developing game of Visceral Games, Battlefield Hardline (read details here). The game which was originally destined to arrive on the 21st of October last year saw a long delay and is now supposed to arrive by March 17 this year. Executive Producer and General Manager of Visceral Games , Steve Papoutsis defended the decision of the studio by explaining that they needed this time to make the game the best first-person shooter game of our time.

Papoutsis futher explained that after getting the feedback of the first beta they conducted, the indication was clear that they had their work cut out for them and they certainly dont regret their decision of delaying the release of the game .

He explained that their motive in fetching the extra time served in the best interest of the players since they utilized it to add a new phase and dimension to the game that includes introducing new game modes, weapons, gadgets and vehicles. However, he assured that the team did not divert from their main purpose of maintaining strategy and teamplay in the game.
