Update for Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin to arrive in Febuary
The update for last generation consoles will arrive by February 5th.

Last we heard the anticipated game by Bandai Namco, Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin was announced to be released for next generation consoles (check details here) this caused a little anxiety amongst fans who wished hear more about the progress of the promised last generation version of the game. Well if you are one those players, you can take a sigh of relief, according to a recent announcement of the Scholar Of The First Sin update coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in early February.

This update is deemed to add a new dimension to the existing and sufficiently tough RPG game. The update will allow players to interact using a new NPC which will help them to find new paths in the game. A new covenant named Covenant Of Champions, the members of this covenant will have the benefit of enemies respawning, of course, once they have defeated them. This updates will bring many matchmaking updates to the game as well.

  • The game will be getting a new bonfire warp selection screen that will highlight the top 3 areas where players can find other players who are online.
  • White Phantoms will remain in other players’ worlds for longer periods of time. Also, white phantoms will no longer return to their world if time runs out during a boss battle.
  • This update will be available for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on February 5th.
