The Premier League transfer window will contain all the dramas as always. With just two months to go before the season ends, most premier league teams will look to end on a high. Here’s a look at what you can expect from the Premier league teams in the summer transfer window.

1. Arsenal

Arsene Wenger and his troops go trophy less for another year. This season though has been different. Since the mauling at Old Trafford Arsenal have recovered well. The main reason has been their talismanic captain Robin Van Persie. 26 goals in the premier league has propelled him to the one of the best in Europe at the moment. We could however expect a very busy transfer window for Arsenal1. Jan Vertonghen (Ajax Amsterdam) :

Jan Vertonghen could be the Gunners' prime target

The Belgian defender is versatile and could be the right man for this shaky Arsenal defence. He is available for around 10-15 million euros. The centre back is in huge demand but Arsenal could be the favourites to grab him.

2. Lukas Podolski (FC Cologne):

The German International has his contract running out in his parent club, Fc Cologne. Podolski is a quality forward with a dangerous left foot. He could be a key player for the Gunners considering his current form. Though his Bayern days did not show encouragement, Arsenal could have well made the bargain of the season signing him up for free.

2. Aston Villa:

Aston Villa have been just another mid table side. Making sure of their survival, Aston Villa will be looking to finish as high as possible. Alex Mcleish could however start thinking about some transfers which could propel his team to the top 10.

1. Pavel Pogrebynak (Fulham)

The Russian International arrived from Stuttgart in the January transfer window. But after signing only a six month contract and banging in five goals in as many appearances, he could be Alex Mcleish’s top target.

Danny Guthrie has all the talent to bolster this Aston Villa midfield. With the midfielder’s contract up in the summer, Aston Villa could tempt him as the move guarantees him a first team spot.

Other targets:

Robbie Keane ( LA Galaxy), Gregg Wylde( Rangers), Assani Lukimya-Mulongoti(Fortuna Dusseldorf),

3. Chelsea:

Probably the most disappointing season in the Roman era, the Blues once title favourites are now struggling for Champions League qualification. They could be on a spending spree in the summer transfer window as they look to rejuvenate the squad

1.Hulk (FC Porto)

" Hulk in Chelsea is a probability you would not want to bet against"

Hulk could be the right addition to a Chelsea team which has struggled to find a quality player up front this season barring Juan Mata. Hulk is currently tied down to a long term contract but could still move considering the stature of Chelsea. Nothing less than 30 million euros will get this bulldozer to London

2. The Holy trinity of Naples

"Could the Holy trinity split next season?"

Napoli president De Laurinitis quoted “If they have the money to pay, I am waiting for the offers,”

There is no doubt about the quality of talent in Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik. The problem however is not about the money but the choice of the right player. Surely Napoli would be willing to sell only one and not more in the summer transfer window. All of them are equally suitable for Chelsea’s heavy ambitions in Europe. But only one of them are attainable.

Other targets:

Matias Suarez (Anderlecht),Steven N’Zonzi(Blackburn Rovers), Eden Hazard( LOSC Lille)

4. Everton

David Moyes must be delighted with his teams performance this season. Despite losing Mikel Arteta and Luis Saha, Everton continue to stamp their authority in the top 10 again.

1. Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy):

2. Hugo Rodallega ( Wigan Athletic)

"The Colombian could be plying his trade in Liverpool next season"

After a disappointing time on the bench this season after two seasons of top performances, Hugo Rodallega could leave the Latics in the summer. Everton will be looking to snap him up for a paltry fee considering Wigan’s survival chances in the Premier League.

Other targets:

Nils Pietersen ( Bayern Munich),Gregg Wylde( Rangers), Bruno Pereirinha( Sporting Clube De Portugal)

5. Fulham

Martin Jol has made Fulham a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. Targetting a top 10 finish this season, the Cottagers are expected to do much better next season.
