About South Africa Under 19 Tour of England, 2018

The battle of the youth of England and South Africa starts on 8 July 2018 in form of a Test series. South Africa Under-19 team will be touring England to play two Test matches and three ODIs.


The first Youth Test which is a four-day Test starts on 8 July at North Marine Ground in Scarborough. The second Test will commence on 16 July at Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street.


Last time when South Africa Under-19 team toured England in 2014, the two Test series was drawn 0-0. England Under-19 team was led by Will Rhodes while the South Africa Under-19 team was led by Sibonelo Makhanya.


Both England and South Africa didn't had a great run in the recently concluded ICC Under 19 World Cup 2018 held in New Zealand. South Africa finished at the fifth place while England finished seventh. Both the teams will be trying their best to get the upper hand in the series. England will aim to get the home advantage in their favour.


After the Test series, the teams will meet in a three-match ODI series in England in the summer of 2018. The matches are slated to play from July 23 to July 29.
