About NASCAR Truck Series Championship Race 2024
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is the truck racing division of stock-car racing organization NASCAR. The Truck Series is the third tier in the sport and is the proving ground for Rookie drivers and NASCAR veterans. The Truck Series, as its name suggests, features V8 pickup trucks based on their production counterparts. Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota are the primary manufacturers in the Truck Series. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series also has teams from many current and previous NASCAR drivers. Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are among the drivers who sport their team in the Truck Series.
The Truck Series features a similar championship contention system, to its stock-car racing counterparts. However, the Truck Series features significantly fewer races than the top two series. The series also features a different driver playoff system. In this system, only two drivers are eliminated after the first round. The final round of playoffs eliminates four drivers from the remaining eight drivers. The final four drivers get to compete for the championship in the final race of the season. The Craftsman Truck Series features 23 races throughout the season. In these, 16 races form the Regular Season for the Truck Series whereas, six races are a part of the driver playoffs.
