The PGA Tour players' next stop is the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship. The event is scheduled to take place from November 7 to 10 at El Cardonal at Diamante Golf Course. It will feature a stellar field of top-ranked golfers, including Max Greyserman and Matt Kuchar. Erik van Rooyen will be returning to defend his title next week.

The World Wide Technology Championship has been part of the PGA Tour since 2007. It takes place in stroke-play format and is a regular Tour event featuring a full-sized field. Over the years, golfers such as Viktor Hovland and Matt Kuchar have won the event.

Max Greyserman was very close to a win at the Zozo Championship but ended up settling for second place in a tie with Justin Thomas, missing the title by just one stroke. After his strong performance at the Zozo Championship, he will tee off at the upcoming World Wide Technology Championship and is among the top golfers to watch at the event.

The American golfer has been impressive with his game so far on the PGA Tour, finishing as the runner-up at both the 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship before the Zozo Championship.


#2 Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar won the World Wide Technology Championship in the past, clinching the trophy back in 2018 by registering a one-stroke victory over Danny Lee. In the 2024 PGA Tour season, he has delivered decent performances but is still seeking his first win of the year.

His notable finishes this season include a T3 at the 3M Open, a T12 at the Wyndham Championship, and a T13 at the Procore Championship. He last played at the Zozo Championship and tied for 37th place.

However, he has not missed a single cut since the Rocket Mortgage Classic 2024 and has recorded decent finishes on the PGA Tour this year. He was tied for third at the Wyndham Championship, had a T9 at the 3M Open, and a T6 at the Zozo Championship.

Defending champion Erik van Rooyen is another top player to watch at the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship. The South African golfer claimed victory in last year’s tournament and is looking forward to defending his title.
