Dustin Johnson was the inaugural winner (2019) and is the only multiple winner (2021). Abraham Ancer is the defending champion.Johnson also set the event's "aggregate" and "to par" records (19-under 261) when he won in 2019. Ancer matched them in 2023.In its first three editions, the PIF Saudi International was sanctioned by the European Tour and had a purse of $3.5 million, with approximately $580,000 going to the winner (the amount varied from season to season).The tournament has been part of the Asian Tour for the last two editions with a purse of $5 million and $1 million for the winner.The first five editions of the PIF Saudi International were played at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City. For the sixth edition, the event moved to the Riyadh Golf Club, which hosted the Ladies European Tour's Aramco Team Series event a few weeks ago.In a few days, the same course will host the LIV Promotions Event, which will award the winner with a league contract for next season.
