The Canadian Golfer took to X and wondered when it became standard practice for retailers to pass along the credit card fee to customers. The golfers' concern was echoed by many in comments. As per a recent LendingTree survey, more than half of the cardholders (57%) believe that credit card processing fees should be illegal.

In response to Hadwin's post, a Twitter user Chris quoted his post and trolled him for caring about minor expenses. He wrote:

In response, Adam Hadwin said that he's technically over $25 million. He quoted Jessica's post and wrote:

"If we’re going career earnings, technically it is. Korn ferry tour earnings put me over ;) I expect a full 3 course meal when I get home (kiss emoji)"
