Bryson DeChambeau had a disappointing finish while defending his US Open title at Oakmont. The two-time US Open champion ended up missing the cut. Fans have now reacted to his latest marketing stunt ahead of LIV Golf Dallas.

Shortly after missing the cut at Oakmont, DeChambeau went to Dallas, Texas to promote the upcoming LIV Golf event that will take place in the city. The 31-year-old shared some pictures of the same on Instagram, which included him holding up a sign asking people to watch him at the event.

The Saudi PIF-backed golf league's next event is scheduled to take place at the Maridoe Golf Club. Along with others, DeChambeau will be competing for the title from June 27 to 29.

How did Bryson DeChambeau perform at the 2025 US Open?

Bryson DeChambeau, a two-time US Open winner, was defending his title at this year's major at Oakmont CC. However, his performance left a lot to be desired as he missed the cut after 36 holes.

DeChambeau started his US Open with a bogey on hole 1. Following a string of pars, he scored two impressive birdies on holes 5 and 7. After that, he scored four more bogeys to end his round at 3-over.

In Round 2, DeChambeau started with a bogey on the 10th, followed by a birdie on the 12th hole. He hit three consecutive bogeys over holes 14, 15, and 16, and ended his back nine with a two-over par 37.

On the front nine, DeChambeau hit a bogey on the 1st hole, followed by a birdie, and another bogey on hole 3. Shortly after that, Bryson scored a double bogey on hole 5, followed by two back-to-back bogeys on holes 6 and 7.

Carding two rounds of 73 (+3) and 77 (+7), DeChambeau ended up missing the cut with a 10-over par total score.
