Matsuyama, the winner of the bronze medal at the men's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, continued the momentum from the Summer Games as he registered an impressive win last weekend.

Matsuyama earned a crucial 2000 points with the win. He is now 3rd in the FedEx Cup rankings just behind Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele.
