Over the past few weeks, Scottie Scheffler has hit a purple patch. He has won three out of his last four tournaments he has taken part in. Scheffler's excellent form has come at just the right time, as the third Golf Major, the 2025 US Open, is quickly approaching. The World No. 1 would be making his sixth appearance at the US Open.

The US Open will be kicking off on June 12 and will be held at the Oakmont Country Club. It is a historic course with a lengthy grass rough, making the game difficult even for the pros. The World No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, will also be facing this difficult task as he gears up to play in the tournament.

Scheffler has a lot of categories through which he has confirmed a position in this tournament. For example, he can be qualified as a former Masters winner (2022 and 2024), 2025 PGA Championship winner, top 60 ranked player and so on. The tournament is definitely going to be difficult for him, and he even showed on his IG how he is prepping for it.

On June 6, Scottie Scheffler reposted an Instagram story from his performance coach, Dr. Troy Van Biezen. The caption to this IG story read:

"US Open Prep"

Scheffler is a huge favourite to win the event at Oakmont. Not only fans, but also golf insiders such as Brandel Chamblee, have asserted unequivocally that whatever Scheffler scores would be the winning score at the 2025 US Open.
